CECA is now offering NFPA 70e training class with 3-year certification upon completion!

In conjunction with NCBEEC and sponsored by CECA, Power Products & Solutions will provide certified personnel to perform NFPA 70e training at CECA Matthews Facility.

Minimum: 10 Students
Maximum: 15 Students

*Includes low voltage student workbooks
*Does not include NFPA 70e Book (additional $230/book)

Course includes:

• 8-Hour NFPA 70e Low voltage course electrical safety training for employees who work on 600V and below.
• Practical compliance with NFPA 70e electrical safety in the workplace
• How to do table-based hazard assessments using NFPA 70e
• How to choose personal protective equipment (PPE) based on the NFPA 70e tables
• Differences between the NEC, NESC, NFPA 70E and OSHA standards
• PPE’s do’s and don’ts for workers exposed to shock and electric arc hazards
• Standards to use in clothing and PPE selection
• Explanations or arc ratings ATPV and EBT, and how they are applied
• The ins and outs of flame resistant (FR), Arc-Rated (AR) clothing and other shock and arc PPE

Upon completion of the 8-hour classroom training, each individual will receive a 3-year NFPA 70e certification.
