Meetings, Conventions and Events

All of the communications provided will never replace the real service of any true association – networking – the ability to associate with much of the electrical industry is provided by its meetings:

  • The Annual CECA Convention
held annually in June. This convention is designed to allow the maximum in networking, open board meetings, workshops, seminars and recreational activities – golf, boating, fishing, tours, swimming, tennis, etc.
  • Board Meetings
Normally scheduled at the above conventions, as well as a December meeting, board meetings are usually open to all members. These meetings are business-related and deal with the direction of the CECA.
  • Lunch and Learn
This is a quarterly membership meeting held in three different cities, Charlotte, Greensboro, and Raleigh. In addition to lunch, the meeting allows for fellowship and a two hour learning session presented by an Associate member. Attendees will receive 2 hours of continuing education credit with the state of North Carolina.
  • Workshops
Another phase of communications is education, which results in many more workshops, seminars, meetings and on several business related items of interest to the electrical contractors – OSHA – Union Avoidance – Safety – Employee Training.
